Open backlog over time — 582 daily snapshots
Backlog spiked to ~8,100 in mid-January 2026 and has been burning down steadily since. Today's 2,804 is the lowest since October 2025.
Daily completions — last 90 days
Raw daily completions plus a 10-day rolling average. Recent 30-day mean is 515 ± 110.

Baseline: last 30 business days from the full 582-day history (Jan 2024 – Apr 15, 2026). Completed 515 ± 110/day, inflow 494 ± 114/day. The shaded band reflects that variance growing with √time. The team has been burning down the backlog consistently since its Jan 2026 peak of ~8,765.
Expected throughput per contributor — weekly & through EOY 2026
Based on the two full days in our sample (Tue + Wed). EOY estimate multiplies the full-day avg across the ~184 business days remaining in 2026.
Read this before you share the dashboard
- Historical data: full 582-day extract from the uploaded workbook (Jan 2, 2024 → Apr 15, 2026). Rate baseline is the last 30 business days (Completed 515 ± 110/day, Inflow 494 ± 114/day), giving a net clearing rate of ~21/day.
- Data cleanups: 12 days across the history showed single-day backlog swings >700 (mass deletes or re-imports in the source sheet, e.g. 3/22/24, 6/9-11/25, 8/1/25, 12/9-12/25, 1/28-29/26). Those points were linearly interpolated from their neighbors so they don't distort the trend line. Raw values are preserved in the source .xlsx.
- Projection horizon: through Dec 31, 2026 (~184 business days). The shaded band on the burn-down grows with √time to reflect uncertainty.
- Today (4/16): in progress — not yet snapshotted in the workbook. The "current week" charts use the last 3 full business days (Mon 4/13 – Wed 4/15).
- Alec shows 0 on 4/14 but 75 on 4/15; Stacy was OUT on Tuesday. "No activity" flags need CS-lead context before acting.
- ADN alone is 43% of the backlog. If ADN has a single root-cause (e.g., a specific doc the client's not producing) that's the highest-leverage fix.
- MISC and REV are not tracked as open backlog but are the largest Completed buckets — worth confirming whether those items bypass the To-Do count.
- Abbreviations (VDP, ADN, LWC) are placeholder guesses. Confirm with the CS team and I'll update labels.
